Well I should really begin this adventure into the blog world with my first post, golf related of course. The season started on 25th of March 2006 and it began with my first duty as Vice Captain of Aberfeldy Golf Club - the now traditional Captain v Vice Captain game! It was a case of dusting down the clubs, scraping last years mud of the shoes and making sure the waterproofs are packed before we all ventured out. And a very enjoyable afternoon it was. The weather stayed remarkably good (dry that is!) and we all set off and returned in one piece.

The score ended up being a favourable one for me and the first trophy of the year was bagged 3-2. It was actually very close coming down to the last pairings.

So that was it - first game, first trophy and first enjoyable day back at the club with the guys.
